Yes, she had great paint, but on my way to NM, and back I got tangled on a wind storm around the Tucson area. Tumble weeds, sand, and gravel hammered the front, cracked the windshield, and scratched about the whole Vette. The fog lights assemblies received a glorious sand blasting job.

Yes, it is already at the shop. The wind was OK, what was weird was the biggest tumble weed I've ever seen. It was way higher than the Vette, and I was lucky to miss it by perhaps a foot.

DRM is a great color when standing next to other metallics.
I find it looses its paazaz when surrounded by primary colors.
Except when the sun is high. then it will stand out!
Repainting another color is your choice and a lot of labor to do it right.
Watching BJ auctions this weekend a Shelby GT500 was repainted Flame Red with white stripes.
The original color was reported to be a metallic green that is not very popular for the eye.
Supposedly the red paint added 10K to the selling price.
