Help Identifying These Parts

Hello everyone,

I purchased an '84 Vette project car and these steel brackets and bolts came with. They were in (2) sealed bags; the bent angle bracket (the single one on top) and (2) bolt set in one bag, the flat pieces, bent pieces, and other (4) bolts in the other. They appear to be brand new and unmodified but I have no idea what they are for.

For size reference; the bent angle piece on top is 5 3/8" x 3" x 1"

The car was an LSx/auto car being swapped to a LSx/T56 so maybe it is LS related instead of C4?

Anyone have any idea?

Those are definitely aftermarket parts. Stock parts would have been black oxidized.

Agreed, I'm thinking it is some sort of reinforcement kit for something? I just can't figure out what its for!
