Shop around, alignment shops vary in price. I got my 4 wheel alignment for $160 from Winston tires.
But ask for a printout once they are done. Some shops just get the alignment to measure in the green, NOT right on.
Alignments for vettes arn't cheap though, I always go by "you get what you pay for" most of the time its true, but chevy dealers rip you off most of the time so try some good tire shop and not chevy.
THAT'S good advice.
I went there when I first moved to VA. Never again! :mad

They are bad news. The vette mechanic is very careless when he works on the vettes. They did damage to mine and did not replace or fix all the tghings the damaged.
I won't go into lots of details except to say they are smucks, including the guy that sets up the vette appt up to the managers.
I'm curious about this as well.
My vette after the accident, still needs to be aligned, its drifting to the left quite alot, but it was drifting that way before the accident too, so?

Agreed, but the strange thing is, they sponser the NVCC . So I thought they would be a good vette shop. I should have been leery when I noticed that no vettes were displayed outside.
Where to go, though? Pohanka Chevy has treated me better, but 230 for an alignment? Sheeesh.
I got an alignment from Firestone for $110 and free future alignments not to exceed more than one every 5,000 miles as long as I own the car. I never have to pay for an alignment again. It's one of their ways to find stuff wrong with your car when you bring it in- that's OK, I do all my own work except alignments, transmissions, and AC. BTW, I have a lifetime transmission replacement from Aamco- free replacements as long as I own the car. Soon, maybe my whole car will be full of free replacement parts and service. :D
The only place I'll let work on my corvettes is Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg. They will do it right. They won't screw up anything else. And you'll be very pleased with the results. Their shop rates are reasonable for the No.Va / Md area. Depending on how much work is required to get it aligned right, you could spend upwards of $200. My 4 wheel shark alignment was about $200. ~Juliet
I pay about $90 at my local Chevy dealer (Sunset Chevy in Sarasota). I won't let anybody touch my car unless I am sure that they have experience working on Corvettes.
Merchants tire in Frederick charged me $79 for a "special" alignment, but that meant that I was out there with the tech the whole time, and that they were setting to MY specs for autocross. Quote from the tech was "the car is aligned perfectly already, why do you want me to screw it up?" :D
Considering that the vette is actually pretty easy to align it shouldn't be any more expensive than anything else they do - it's not like a FWD strut car where they may have to grind metal or use crash bolts to get it within spec.
Oh yeah, make sure that they're even going to actually *do* the alignment - some dealers send them out to another shop.
