Check you door jam switches may have one hung up. Had similar problem with my 93. A little spray worked till i replaced them. Dave

I don't remember a buzzer sounding for the door (door jamb switch) being open.
I would check the jamb switches as suggested first as that is the easiest thing to verify.
I would then test some things that should make the buzzer sound when shutting down the car.
I don't have quick access to my car or repair manuals right now so this is all I have for now.

Slick93, check your door jam switch. But more important, mark your calendar for Feb. 21st and try to attend a gathering of the Charlotte Classic Corvette Club. The members are C1, C2, and C3 owners. They recently voted to welcome C4 dudes to there group.
