Back when the C5 was new. car magazines talked about how the Viper was raw and the new C5 was so refined. Tis made me not want Viper. After having C5's (still have one) and a C6, I now want a Viper. Callaway or 90 ZR-1. Funny how your outlook changes. But I must say I loved my C5 at the time and still like them today, just not as raw feeling.

whats weird is i say i want the rawness of the viper (as opposed to the cadillac-ness of c5/6/7)...but in reality i find myself driving my 2014 silverado moreso than id like on long trips (vs the c4) just because i might be tired that day or sore from working out or something...i dont feel like getting beat up or droned out by my 3" exhaust.
My job takes me all over the state
In fact, if im just driving straight boring roads of northwest ohio, i drive the truck.
However if im going into southeast ohio (twisty roads) i make it a point to drive the c4.
So i guess the cadillacness of the c5/6/7 would better suit touring (As the ferrari guys say) and rawness of my c4 for those days when im amped up on caffeine or on the race/drag strip track.

Yup, I still need to own a C1/2/3 but after having the 4/5/6 its time to pick up a Viper for sure.
