Cooling Temp Question

1995 LT1, automatic, 130,000 miles, stock engine, stock thermostat. Did a WOT the other day and now my cooling temp is three deg higher. My normal cruising down the highway temp has always been 205 now after the WOT it's 208. Any ideas on what might have caused this?

Still right on track.

I personally bypass the TB coolant and re-flash my PCM fans constant parameters. Easily brings the coolant down in the 190 range. Assuring a better operating temp.

My first thought is that maybe some dirt or gunk in the system broke loose from the higher flow of WOT,, and is now clogging some part of the radiator or cooling passage...Just a WAG....WW
