Default Marker Light Replacement

I'm sure it's been asked before, but my search turned up nothing.

1992 rear marker light bulbs. How do I get to them to replace the bulb? I don't have any rear mufflers, I just can't find where & how to get to them.

Any help is most appreciated...

Lights need voltage and current to work. That means that there will be wires involved. Find the wires and then remove the bulb socket by twisting it.

Maybe we're talking about different things. To me "marker lights" are the amber/red lights on all four corners of the car, like so:

Maybe you're talking about "tail lights"?

If you mean tail lights the lenses are held on by two Phillips screws on the 92. The bulbs are 2057s. If you mean the red side marker lights, they are accessed from under the car. You can slide under the fender and reach up to the socket. They are twist and pull connectors with a push in type 24 bulb.

I really appreciate the feedback, but...
I just had my mechanic get up under there (he has smaller hands and arms then I do) and he says there is no room to get to the sockets & even if you did, there's not enough room to back the bulb out.

Yes, on the sides of the rear fenders.

What to do???

You can remove the rear wheel then remove the inner fender liner. That should get you there.

Just happen to have the rear inner fender out, But I have never had any issues reaching them from under the car. Hate to say this but you need to find a better mechanic.....
