I am seriously considering purchasing a nice set of 1 piece (cast or Forged) or 3 piece wheels for my 94 Vette, now I need at least an 18" wheel up front to house my Brembo brakes so i was thinking of running staggered sizes 18" up front 19" in back or 19" up front and 20" in the back. Now what do I need to measure in order to ensure a proper fit (backspace, caliper to spoke and inner barrel clearance, offset and etc.) And what approved vendors have the best prices. I love the Fikse Profile 5s, CCWs, Forgelines, iForged, and 360 Forged however at this point in time I cannot justify spending $6,000 on wheels. So where can I get a similar look for a fraction of this cost.

If you want forged wheels the most reasonable price in the group you mentioned I think will be CCW. I think you will still be between 3K and 4K though. If you do go that route they will help you with sizes and fitment.

Wow at $750 a copy the CCW SP550 and 505A are the cheapest. I am going to keep window shopping there are a lot of different wheel manufacturers out there. Is there any forum approved suppliers that give a membership discount or would I just buy them straight from CCW

Why not wait for a used set of CCW or Fikse?

Do your caliper dimensions and wheel requirements using the CCW form. Keep those dimensions close by and you can spot some used of many varieties and you can determine if they'll work for you by just asking the correct questions. NO surprises.

Their .pdf

www.ccwheel.com/documents/BrakeMeasurements.pdf

Their on-line dimension guide:

http://www.ccwheel.com/technical-veh...asurements.php

You might also consider maybe contacting any of the constructors and mention your interests and they very well could have something that will work for you that was "misconstructed" or "misordered" by someone else.

nearly every constructor out there could work with the three required dimensions that are mentioned in the CCW guide. You certainly wouldn't be limited to a particular brand BUT you need to understand the dimensions.

I believe you either have a present problem or had a problem with wheels earlier.

A "straight edge" and a tape measure will confirm any used wheel that you come across BUT you need to understand!

I plan on taking the measurements soon as the link suggests. What is the going rate for Fikse Profile 5s or FM5s ad I can not find anything online listing prices for them.
