Check to see if the steering wheel has slack in it
See if you can feel a difference in tour vs performance. You sould. I feel it slightly firmer when in performance in my car. You know, check it out as you would any car. Good luck and let us know
Thanks. My last C-4 was a beautiful '95 coupe. I rue the day I sold it, but stuff happens. It had the @#$%X FX3 adjustable suspension. I swore never again! But this car I'm looking at seems to be fairly tight.
Oh ok, sweet, you've owned a 95 so you will know if something is out of line. I'm on my 2nd 93 C4. Also, make sure the turn signal lever feels tights. Both my 93's gave me that problem.
Price is high. Bought my 93 coupe last summer, 65k, paid $7k. Needed pivot switch for turn signals, a/c not working, tires were in good shape but over ten years old.Seller had all service records.
Just replaced the distributor cap/rotor, water pump, hoses. Also fixed a small oil leak back of intake, very common, easy fix.

I bought mine with good tires, working ac, for 7k with 77k miles. I got ripped off.
