Hi
I'm looking to put in a new radio and everybody said I should put in a 4 channel converter high low output adaptor. I have a 1984 corvette with bose system. I'm looking to buy Kenwood KDC X399.
What would be a good converter to buy. Suggestion please and please send me info and where to buy

Take a look at the Scosche SLC4. Simple.

So you just hookup the wires from radio to the Scosche then the Scosche hooks up to the wires going to the amp and speakers
and your done
Is this right

So how does it work?
Also I'm looking at a Kenwood and it has 6 rca jacks with preamps and 4 volts
Would this work without a adaptor

Thanks for your help
The plan was to take the 2 wires from one RCA jack and hook them up to the - and + of the wiring harness of the speakers. Do this to all 4 speakers. My Stereo guy said it would work but all you do read about is having a adaptor between radio and the bose amp and speakers. So doing this no adaptor required. right

This is a popular swap in order to get a factory CD deck in early C4s and will work perfectly, whether cassette or CD.
