Default C4 and C7...

The 2 only generations I like is the C4 and the C7. I prefer the sharp angles on these cars, another car I like are the lambos but out of my price range I appreciate the sharp angles on the lambo too. Am I just a weirdo or are there other C4 owner/weirdos hat like the styling of these vettes. The look of the C4 is closer in styling than the C5 and C6.

Well, you're definitely a weirdo.

But with that out of the way, I'm also a weirdo in that the C4 is one of my favorite gens of Corvette. I really like wedge cars. I have an appreciation for a lot of those 70s and 80's exotics, for instance. And I like that the C4 went in that kind of direction. But with that said, I still think the C2 is just about the best looking thing ever. And I appreciate every gen in one way or another.

I've definitely noticed a lot of bits of the C7, particularly in the interior, that seem vaguely inspired by the C4... just done up to today's standards. Exterior wise, they couldn't be much more different. And of course.. performance wise. But that's a given after 20-30 years.

Obviously, most of us in the C4 section like the looks of the C4.

Thing is, the OP is just 'ing for responses. He doesn't GAF what people think about C4's, C7's or C anythings...and he probably doesn't have a Corvette. He just likes getting negative attention, getting booted from the forum, and coming back for more w/a different UN.

The early C4 body style had a few edges but nowhere near as angular as the C7. The late C4s are perhaps the most understated body style of all Corvettes (the C5 was also an understated design for its day). I like the simple & clean wedge style, no gawdy "look at me" flashy or ridiculous features. It's not a sports car trying to be a supercar. It's just a very good sports car doing what it does best: bang for the buck!

My favorite Corvette body style is the C3, especially the 1980-1982 models with the extremely swoopy fenders, slim-waist coke bottle shape and the small lip spoiler on the back. Dam that is a sexy body. But for many reasons I won't get into here, I would never own one.

Meh .. I'm taking this thread at face value.

I've always wanted a C4. I was never that enthralled by any of the previous models. The C4 came out and it seemed to be the perfect combination, but obviously I'd never have anything that expensive. C5 came out, and I was not pleased at all with it - the C6 came out and while it was an improvement over the C5, it wasn't what I liked. Finally, when the C7 came out, I liked them again. And once again, I thought "I'll never have one of those."

And then realized .. the C4's are now easily within my reach. Heck, I bought TWO.

And I suppose 20 years from now, I'll buy a C7.

If I am honest .. A c7 is the ONLY corvette atm I woukd own if I had to buy a different gen. I agree with the op that the styling on the 2 does relate a little in my eyes (in a very mall level Ie.. Windshield angle, sharp lines on windshield .. Angled lines on the corner markers and front bumper from the side view. ) The c6 has a dumbfounded look from its awful round headlights which are severely dated parked besude a c7 ..The c5 obviously rounded, the c6 is just an abomination of.
