Getting old SUCKS
Plus the new pioneer double din arrived today.
My new exhaust tips should be here any day.
Ive got another door lock to install a new key cylinder on.
The list goes on with parts to be installed piling up.
Today I got my butt whipped by a piano.....
We basically remodeled the house around a full size piano and wife decides she wanted it gone for expanding the kitchen to put new cabinets in. Today my daughter came over to help me dissect it. Saws all totaled the piano out nicely since it couldn't fit thru the new hallway to get it out. That thing had a 400 lb metal plate thing in the back of it that fell over on me during the moving attempts.
Now sitting here looking out the window at my vette and as miserable as a person can be wanting to work on it with sunny weather and can barely move my left arm.
I used to be able to do all this junk and never notice it but getting old sooooooooooo sucks.
Figured Id whine on here since I cant do much else
And 24 hours older. Sorry I had to.
We are all getting older, you may just be feeling it more today than others.
Hang in there. Some days are better than others.
Hope your arm gets better to tackle the projects for your vette.
At least the Corvette can age gracefully, and keep looking like new.
On my 1985.
Have replaced the engine a couple of years ago with a heavy duty 383 build, new trans in February and rebuilt the rear end while i was waiting for the heavy duty build. New rear hub bearings, universal joints, bushes, fixed the diff leak new gm additive / oils and cleaned the rear suspension/diff. Looks as good as new.

Will tackle the front suspension in a few months, she will almost be a NEW (OLD) car
Have replaced the power steering hoses and pump recently, i want her to be reliable for the next 30 years.
Wish i could say the same about me, i keep getting older getting some wrinkles, i wish i could get some new parts... knees..shoulder..pancreas, neck and some finger joints lol the list grows every year.
I recently helped my neighbor restore a baby grand which had to be moved from the garage, up a flight of steps to the house and in to a sitting area off the living room. we did this in stages of completion but I think the 'harp' was the heaviest piece to move and then slip back into position.

I bought one of those tens electrical massager gadgets for the wife to use on her back. I think Im going to try electrocuting my arm with it and see if it helps
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I got the new pioneer double din head unit installed and everything setup to drop the 600 watt rms amp in there tomorrow.
Wish I had someone here filming me doing this. Had to crawl my fingers up the sides of the dash to raise my left arm to get to stuff. Sad....

Great job on the radio.

I have moved exactly 2 pianos. And both times have ended in the same result. with me saying Never Again.
Next time I get asked for help with one I think I'm going to have to charge for it. That or maybe see if I can get an engine lift to do the work for me

Well today the arm hurts less. Used the tens electro massager on it last night. Wild gizmo but it worked great. Feels like ants crawling under the electrodes. I cant get over something working the muscles like that and making it better. Seems like anything that made the muscles do something would make it worse. Just cant get my head wrapped around the concept but cant argue with the results.
