Default New windshield

Dropped the vette off at Speedy Glass yesterday and went to work. The wife went and got the car when it was done. I drove it to work today and noticed a lot of wind noise coming from the drivers side top corner. Checked the window was up, OK. The top was vibrating with the wind on the freeway. Pulled over to check the screws and found they left that corner unbolted. The screw was totally loose. All the others were tight though. I tightened it up and now the car seems much more solid and quiet, mostly due to the new A-pillar weatherstrip. So far so good.

Glad it was something simple ... and not a problem with the install. Some have used crappy weatherstripping when replacing the windshield.

I supplied the weatherstrip. I got it from Willcox. It is the CRC brand.

I had Safelite install a new windshield in my 90, but used my own weather stripping (I got from Corvette Rubber....Good rubber with stock texture, but good luck on getting them on the phone tho)

Can we see some pics and details on the install? I have heard so many horror stories of ruined trim and leaky, poor-fitting windshields that I feel we need as much info on a GOOD install as we can get. This is one of those items that makes my blood run cold.
