Just curious how you other guys get around the no in car storage issue.
My wife and I live about 40 minutes from the nearest big shopping area and last year we found taking the Corvette was not very convenient. As I have been told, "I don't live in BFE but you can see it from my driveway".
This has pretty much limited driving the Corvette to and from work and the occasional "long drive".
I would really like to drive the car when we go on these shopping errands as we both enjoy the car but the lack of space prohibits it.
I would leave the wife at home and use that space. Besides you won't have to buy as much. But seriously it is a problem even with a coupe. I don't know any way around it.

The first step, of course, is to drive home with the top up. Second, make sure everything is in plyable bags. Third, dont forget the storage bins under the floor surface. and lastly, if necessary, take items out of bags and store them seperately where they fit. (Think outside the bags.)
There really is a considerable amount of space if you use it wisely. (Well not really that much space,

What storage bins? Are you referring to the coupes? I've not seen any in mine other than for the speakers and abs pump.
I've done one of those spur-of-the-moment grocery runs while out in the convertible. With the top up, not packing the bags too full I got 3 or 4 behind the seats and one in the wifes lap. It's not convenient but it's possible but big things are a pain to deal with.
Typically we take the van or truck most times and if using the Vette, have to think about what we're buying.

There is a compartment lid behind the passenger seat. Remove the small plastic tray under the lid and that opens up a fairly large storage compartment.
There's a lid behind the driver's seat but the compartment holds the ABS pump. No room for storage in that one.

Definitely going to have to check that one out. Had not seen anything back there other than the speaker covers in the yr and half I've owned it. Then again haven't done anything in there except store a few tools and the convertible top so far. Thanks

If you guys are talking about the two floor compartments behind the seats (hold overs from the C3 design where the battery was) then I only have access to one. The one behind the passenger seat has a small amount of room and the one behind the drivers seat can not be opened without a screw driver.

I found an idea to help access the rear storage area on the Forum several years ago. It is a stick used to keep the deck lid up and the rear of the top out of the way so you can load/unload your stuff when you are alone.
Simply flip the lid up and fold the rear of the top forward and measure the space between the two. Then cut a dowel (I used an old arrow) to place in that space. Works great and allows the use of both hands.
