Hi
I'm getting my car repainted. The original colour was 2 tune light bronze and dark bronze. The last owner painted it about 10 years ago just light bronze. The paint job wasn't done the greatest. I'm want to repaint it but I do like the copper metallic or a orange. What do you guys think should I paint it light bronze again or go with the orange family. What orange would look good on a 1984 corvette. I seen pictures of the copper but its only pictures. I like it but I like the atomic orange to. What do you guys thinks any pictures for me to see
thanks
Have you seen the new chev orange on silverados and C7's? We had an orange '15 silverado in our body shop and its the same code for the corvette. Looked nice, check it out!
It's your car so make the color choice you want. The two-tone light bronze/dark bronze paint option came on just under 3700 cars out of over 51 thousand, five hundred cars produced in '84 so that color combo could be considered somewhat rare.
There was only one interior color offered with that paint option, a bronze color. Is that still the same interior color in the car? You may want to get some paint color samples to see how oranges work with the interior color.
Is the Corvette orange color one of those that uses a tinted clearcoat? That could add hundreds to the price of a paint job compared to staying with the OEM colors.
Hi
I was looking at the copper metallic from 1986 corvette. I have read they used the Bronze on someone spec's. My car has bronze interior.
I trying to find someone that has there car painted that copper colour. Its hard to tell the colour on some pictures. I do like the orange family. I have seen weaselbeak has his car with the copper colour. I have emailed him if he could send me pictures. I'm getting a sample from the guy that's painting my car and I do want to stay with the corvette colours
thanks

My 85 is Dark Bronze, I was never crazy about the color but the condition of the car was so good I bought it any way. I have tossed the idea of a repaint and about the only other color I can come up with that would work with a Bronze interior would be white.
