Default Callaway value?

Hey guys, newbie here just looking for some information regarding the c4 callaway twin turbos and supernaturals. So without getting into too much detail, I'll just get on to my question. So recently I've found two callaway vetts, one is a 1987 twin turbo convertible with 38,000 miles with the 4 speed plus overdrive transmission and the other is a 1994 supernatural coupe with 50,000 miles and a 6 speed. So my question is, what do you guys think these cars are worth and which one would be the better buy? For a moment let's consider them as both the same condition (excellent) without any vices just to get an idea on price. And of course if our interest becomes serious, we'll do a serious pre-buy. Also to iliminate any bias, I won't post their prices till later however they are about the same price. Thanks for any/all feedback.

They are both worth what someone will pay

I always liked the early C4 bodies most but I would jump on the 1994 mostly because I like a six speed.

There is no way one of us can answer that question for you....it is a PERSONAL thing. The '94 is a better car in most ways (on paper) and probably generates better objective performance numbers in most if not every way. Trans is better, brakes are better, chassis is better, interior is better....but if you want "better" you could just go buy a C5^. OTOH, the '87 is more unique (not just a 383 LT1), and likely more fun to drive around with some massive mid-range tq.

You need to drive both and then decide.

Does the 94 have a stock body?

The 87 b2k's are running around 17-20k at auction right now.

It really all depends how you want to use the car. Id probably give the SNAT the first look, unless the b2k was absolutely mint with Dymags(which I doubt).

Id probably look at the blue 87 TT.

Interesting. Thanks for the correction. I've never actually seen a Callaway SuperNatural w/a stock body.

I'd probably get a TT over the SN too.

If they're both in good shape... I'd go TT over the SuperNatural...anyone can 383 an LT1.

Bit more work to TT a vette...

I'd lean towards the TT for two reasons: it's an RPO (B2K), and the driving experience & sound is very unique, not easily duplicated.

While the supernats are nice, I just don't think they're that 'special' as already mentioned. Go drive both and report back.

Having owned both, they are actually really interesting vehicles, but for different reasons. If you have the cash, buy both of them

Having owned a couple of turbo cars...you need to drive one and then make your decision. I would buy the TT for sure.
