Would like Wrap info
Interior and body are pretty straight. He ,s asking $2500 for it.
My questions are :
1 hard to do ?
2.Special tools ?
3 Special prep ?
I sold my 84 when I left Indiana it was a project car sort of like this one and am ready for another.
I enjoy all the comments and helps the forum provides

2. Not really, spatula and sometimes a heat gun.
3. It covers small imperfections, but small dents will show.
I helped a buddy of mine wrap the hood of his Mustang...what an experience.
Constant hot sunshine is to be avoided. It's thin plasitcs and light adhesives which only take some and will fade or change color parked in direct sunlight constantly.
For a complete neophyte, It's not out of the question I wouldn't recommend doing a whole car first. You could but, I almost garauntee you buy x2 the Vinyl you measure for. Hoods, roof panels door pillars, trim are excellent place to learn how it needs to be manipulated to properly cover a surface without ruining the Vinyl or the cars trim.
It takes a while to get the technique of how to end it against moulding and how to wrap around the back side of a door or hood not just cut it off at the outside edge without puckers showing. That's where it takes knowledge of proper application skills. There are definetly tricks to this you learn along the way.
This is why shops charge $2500->6000 for a professional wrap. It's all in the technique.
FWIW; Decent Vinyl to do a Corvette would cost >$600
Nice Viynl >$800
Allow for and add at least 10% waist into whatever you order
Tools cost round $75-100 for cheap beginners
Look into knifeless tape
Good Luck.
