DARN LIGHT!
Tonight I got pulled over and ticketed for 78 in a 65 when i SWEAR i was only doing 68. Along with that my dad riding passenger had an open beer from the lake. he got the ticket for that, mine for speeding and a headlight out. Aside from being stupid.. I just replaced that headlight not 3 days ago. Its one of those Xenon brite lite things. :confused: :mad

Where I come from , the driver would have been arrested for the open container of beer. And the vehicle would have been ordered not to be driven at night because of the defective headlight. You got lucky!

Was the police car stationary when he saw how fast you were going? Their guns give inacaurate readings when the car is in motion.

Yes. Speedo is accurate to 1 second over a mile at 55. I dont know exactly where he came from, at some point he was ahead of me to see my headlight out. if he was stationary he wouldve had to have shot when i was accelerating from the ramp because i had just gotten on the highway. What upsets me is that there was no way at all that I was doing 78.
