C4, 1989 Spoiler?
Hi everyone, did some searching and didn't find much on this.
i'm looking for a C4, which will be my first vette, I found a 89 that's nice but it has a spoiler i don't like.
Did the 89 come with a factory spoiler, and whats it take to get it off?

No C4 came with a spoiler or wing (other than the molded-in lip that is the top of the rear bumper).
Taking it off would likely involve accessing the retaining bolts or buts, likely by removing the rear bumper cover or at least removing the tail lights, then filling the holes and paint.

remove the tail lights to gain access for most spoilers. might need to go through license plate area too?
almost 100% certainty you'd need to repaint both rear quarters and the rear bumper. IOW, probably won't be easy/cheap.
