Fuse Panel Troubleshooting Tip

Periodically, I have an electrical event that first requires this step.
The four large fuses on the R/H side will dislodge.
Push them all back into place and check again.

Those are circuit breakers. On my car the top one (hatch) would randomly fall out. I fixed it by removing the fuse block and bending the contacts.

Here is another tip for you.

You can test a blade fuse without removing it. Each blade or mini blade fuse has two test points. One on either side of the numbers.

With the key on and normal power to the car applied; you can ground the negative lead of your DVM or test to the chassis and then take a reading from each side of the fuse. If one side has power and the other does not, then the fuse is most likely blown.

Nice additions guys!

FYI after a few of these events caused from lousy kali roads.
I attached a thin foam strip to the cover to hold those CB's in place.
