Fuel issue
I am working on a 86 corvette. To let you know I have a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel injectors. It runs great as long as it as a full tank of gas but when it get to about a quarter tank it runs horrible. It seems like it's not getting any gas. It almost stalls and acts horrible. What would cause this? I hate having to fill up everything I get to half a tank. Plus what would cause the corvette to get bad fuel mileage? What should be my average that I should be getting?? Sounds like your pulsator is not making a good connection between the fuel pump and the fuel delivery pipe (the one that goes up to the engine).
Some people replace the pulsator with a length of hose. If the hose is not SUBMERSIBLE it will dissolve in the fuel and cause this problem. You need some of this stuff:
