College is 6 hours away. So that is out. And i can't have a car on campus first year anyway. :mad
Will
PS
On the brighter side i won't have to seel uintil at least next summer.
A car up there is usless anyway. Specially the vette. Pootsdam NY is almost in canada (way upstate NY off of 87). So i would barely get to drive her. O well she becomes a garage queen till i return. My dad and mom will surely drive it to work ocassionaly. Damn i miss my car
I took my Z in for the tree damage repair last weekend, hoping 2 weeks would be enough to finish in time for Carlisle....well....I stopped by Friday and all they'd done was just sand that hood spot down. :( I am seriously doubting it'll be done, although my writer is tellng me Thursday....:nonod: I can sympathize at least somewhat! ;)

Jen,
My car's been at a tuner since Jul 9 getting a full top end and rear end upgrades. They keep guessing the completion date in incrememts of weeks. Now, they're saying Tuesday. Still trying to make it to Carlisle this year, but don't want to go without a Vette. Atleast you still have the yellow car if you so choose.
Well the general rule of thumb for a tuner is add 3 months to what they tell you. If it makes you feel any better a buddy of mine is having his 68 Camero modified, and it's only 1.5 years behind shcedule. I think the second rule of thumb is to not plan anything around the return, as tuners will inevitabley find this out, and make your car delivery even later. Lets hope Tuesday is accurate.
