Default Oil engine temperature

Hi guys
my curiosity to know if you have ever looked at what temperature your engine oil comes with a sporty driving ??? I checked my car and it come around 140 degrees with an outside temperature of 28/30 degrees.
The engine is LT1 with Mobil 1 oil 5W30

That's 284°F oil at 88°F weather, and you are doing spirited driving.

I say its normal.

I have explored this issue with several of my hot rods, never towing, my oil temps have remained within 10 degrees of my water temp. this is with stock oil system, modified with coolers, from 5-12 qt systems. I went from a oil cooler fan to a what the heck, stock is good. They were all street driven not race and no sustained high rpm operation.
Sporty Driving; I would add a larger oil cooler and keep the temp under 240F
