Default trunk release buttons

On my 1984 Corvette, both trunk release buttons on the doors will not work, while the one in the middle glove box works.

If the door ajar switches do not work...neither will that switch on the door. The door ajar switches will be CLOSED when the door is open.

I had mine for 8 months before I found the switches on the door panels. I guess I should have read the manual more carefully.

The door switches are grounded through the courtesy light delay module. The interior lights must be on for those switches to work.
