C4 AC problem
Hi My names Zach, Im new to the forum and new to Corvettes. I just bought a 1985 Vette and it runs great it needs a new paint job which can wait but the real problem I am more concerned about is the air conditioning. I live in Pennsylvania and purchased my Vette in Connecticut the drive back was about 6 hours in that time the front windshield kept fogging up and the defroster was blowing but not very cold. The hot/cold slider on the ac control unit is stuck in the cold position and it won't move. I was curious if anyone else has had this problem and if they have what I can do to fix it. Thanks a bunch!!!!

85 is totally different. Your cable is frozen. Get the factory service manual, there is a procedure there for replacing it. The ac also probably has no refrigerant. Keep us posted, dealing with my own ac issues right now so maybe can help.
