Default C4 wheel decals

Does anyone know where to find these for a late C4 or a Collector Edition?

I have found a few that were $60 plus shipping. I know I am cheap, but that much for a decal is a rip off.

I can find some early C4 for about $20 a set of 4 or 5, but I can't find the ones listed above. (I did find some of the late C4 decals on a web site for $10 for a set of 4, but the site is not a .com and the investigation I looked at found ties to Russia as a security risk)

I have also found decals for about $5 each, but the smallest are 3" and do not fit the center caps. Too bad since they have the CE, late C4, and Corvette Challenge decals that all look close to what I am looking for.

There are lots of C5 and C6 wheel decals, but the vendors seem to skip over the C4's again.

So if anyone knows of a reasonable priced source for these decals/emblems please let me know.

Thanks

is this what you're looking for?

if so, here ya go - looks to be $10 plus shipping

http://supdec.info/catalog/product_i...jb8ic7t0c3afi0

I have no idea of the quality of these things, and I hope it's not the russian site you referred to...

That is the site I found and I see no feedback from anywhere on it. Some of the sites that post about scams refer to it, but don't actually call it a scam site. Some say it could be russian, although the site is from Arizona (one place said Nevada). Unless I can get a better feel for it, I wasn't going to try it.

Thanks for looking for me.

better to err on the side of caution. good luck in you search -

edit - one thing I might add - nothing on their site addresses GM licensing. if they are a legit company, they may be operating just this side of the law. personally, I would avoid them. I also checked some scam sites. like you I'm getting mix reviews.

I bought these from an eBay site to use on the C5 wheels I put on my 91. Can't remember if this is the same seller or not though:

Thanks, but those have the early C4 logo. I was considering them too.

In your picture the decals are too small to see, but they almost look like the late C4 emblems that I am looking for. They look pretty good on the C5 wheels too.

Can you post a bigger picture that I can see how the early ones look on your car.

Thanks, I may go with them too.

Edit:

I saw this on another thread. The ones you have look like the late C4 that I have been looking for. I have not been able to find them on Ebay or elsewhere online. If you can send me a link or some info on the Ebay seller I would like to contact them and see if they are still available.

Thanks.

Sorry but no link and no record of the purchase any more unless eBay lets you search 2-3 years back.

Thanks for checking.

I also tried contacting the seller that you posted an ebay link that has the early C4 decals to see if they have the late C4 decals too but not on the site right now, or if they can get them. They have not responded yet.

I would check with the various vendors that sell the ZR1 replicas and ask them if they sell the raised decals . Years ago I purchased mine but it was not raised. It still looks good because I'm careful cleaning the center cap. I forgot where I bought it from but it was at least 5 years ago.

Just from the sounds of the response I would say this person is foreign. I think I am going to give it a try. I really like the decals and the price. They do take paypal so I should have some buyer protection if the deal heads south. Worst case Im out ten bucks.

Please keep us posted about your dealing with them and how it turns out. The decals look pretty good. Hopefully they are.

Good luck.

Does Florida Speed still offer theirs?

http://shop.floridaspeedshop.com/COR...ALS-456484.htm

It's a bit deceptive as they mention "Cross Flag" but it's actually the later C4 - style. You might ask if they do black if that's what you're interested in. Are you adding these to something other than the C4 wheel center caps?

Thanks, I will take a look at them and see what they have or can do.

I am adding them to some plain silver center caps. They will probably be used on some Camaro SS wheels (same as Corvette A molds except 17" x 9"). They may also be used on some C5 wheels.

The last set of C4 wheels I purchased had "built in" C5 logos that could not be removed. The champagne '03 wheels did not come with any centers so I bought some off eBay. They were chrome with C5 decals that I stripped off. I then sanded them, primed and painted them with the correct '03 color that I had my local paint shop mix up for me.

Any updates?
I am also interested in finding the small late model decals. The ones I found on fle-bay where for the earlier years. Size was right at 2" x 1 3/8" to fit the small center of aftermarket wheels.

No updates from me.

I can find them at $60 for a set of 4, but to me that seems steep for 4 decals. It might be the only option though?

I also sent some emails and contacted some vendor sites about availability of these, but no responses yet.

I am hoping for an update from chadk to see if those decals actually come in, and/or if they are very good.

Let us know if you find any.

Thanks

Guys. So far so good. I got an email back from person (company) with tracking number. They said it will take about 2 weeks to get stickers since they are located in the Ukraine. Seems legit. I even got an automatic reply after placing order. I'll let you know how decals look when I get them.

When you get them, can you provide the measurements? I would like to see if they will fit the small area of my center cap.

Thanks for sharing.
