84 - 85 Instrument cluster
Hi
To make a story short, the body shop lost the Instrument cluster on my 1984
I have been looking for a replacement, i have access to a 85, question, wouldit work correctly.

The 85 shuld be fine however note the following...
The manual trans type had an upshift indicator, not really important.
However the cruise control works via the dash.
Make sure the doner car had cruise control (some do not) your cruise control will not work if the 85 dash was made for no cruise control.
The 85-89 have larger display segments so that is a plus.

I think you want to get the bezel at the same time as the cluster. I read somewhere that the angle of the cluster was different between the 84-85 and the 86-90 units. I do not know that for a fact, only read about it.
