vin numbers
Just checked the vin # on the targa top of my '93 coupe,it does not match the # of the car.The car # is xxxxx269,the top # is xxxxx270.Has anyone else found this discrepency? :cheers:

Someone must have changed the VIN stamper for the next car before they were done with your car at the factory. So you got part of the numbers for the next car in line. Who knows. Sounds like a case for Carfax.

The vin # is on the glass top that came with the car,I also have a painted top from another 40th anniv car.Today I looked at it and found no vin #.
