I have a 87 vette with 5.7 some one has taken the tpi off and im having over heating problems ( problum 1 ) next it runs real rough and when you turn the key off it wont die clanks and cluters for a few minutes before it will die , has no power car has over 200,000 miles i just put new plugs in gaped to .350 but now when you give it a little gas in drive it trys to die clanking noise and still no power but runs smooth in park. It has a holly carb and Edelbrock intake on it as well put on befor i got the car

Where these problems happening when you bought the car or after you put the plugs in? Anyway, with the limited info, one would first guess timing or you mixed up the spark plug wires. As far as over heating, check the front of the radiator for debree. 9 times out 10 you will find the rad blocked.
