Thanks a lot guys. I drove the car home from the dealership (60 miles away) Thurday night. Worked Friday (gotta pay for this thing), packed Friday night for a flight to Hawaii this morning. The good is that I am now in Waikiki on the 18th floor of a hotel looking out at the beach. The bad is that the car is home and I can't play with it for a week. During the drive back, the car felt tighter and more enclosed around the driver than my C6. The car felt heavier (like 400lbs) and more solid. I didn't play with it at all since it was an unfamiliar car at night on the freeway. It certainly looks beautiful and am looking forward to driving it and eventually taking it out to the strip. It is after all an A8.
Life is tough when you are confined to a hotel overlooking the ocean in Hawaii keeping you from your new C7 Z06 in California parked next to your C4 that pulls the front wheels.........
383; I wish I had your problems..........
Well,
When you are free from that Hawaiian experience and are able to fly back to California back to your daily grind, give us the update on the C7 for us lowly folk back here.....
BTW, Don't know how close you are to Sonoma and the other parts of wine country up around the SF area, but my wife and I are headed there in October for our 20th Anniversary......maybe we can meet so I can lay my eyeballs on that C7 or some of your other toys......was in Solvang, CA a few years ago north of LA, was a great town.
