You don't mention year but I'd say NO it's not for the Bose. I wouldn't think the Bose would have used Weather-pack and I believe the Bose was in most years likely a 6-pin connector.

What are the wire colors? The year is?

I wouldn't have expected Weather-pack in the doors at all.

It appears that for '88 the Bose did use a four wire Weather-pack - you didn't mention wire colors but I would expect PINK/BLK, DK GREEN, LT GREEN and BLACK for the right door and substitute GRAY and TAN for colors other than PNK/BLK and BLACK for the left. Early this AM I looked at an '86 FSM and the AMP terminals are lettered A, C, D, F, that would have left me to think it was a 6 wire like I mentioned. I was able to find a later MY that had them lettered A, B, C, & D.

From the '86 FSM. It's not uncommon to only display populated terminals to a component. Fooled me for sure.

An '87 FSM has the left as A - PNK/BLK, B - BLK, C - GRY, and D - TAN. For the right A- PNK/BLK, B - BLK, C - DK GRN and D - LT GRN

That doesn't seem to match your message but it's what is in the FSM. It's also from an '87 FSM and you've an '88 but I would expect the color coding to have carried from '87 to the '88. I believe that A - PNK/BLK, B - BLK on both should be sufficient for the ID that it is the Bose connector in each door.

With the many issues you mention maybe an '88 FSM would be a "wise buy" for confirmations.

Add your location to your profile and there are several AU users with early C4's that may actually be in your vicinity to help.

Is your car a RHD conversion? That has it's own set of circumstances I believe and a fellow C4 RHD owner could certainly help you.

I don't know of any that have an '88 specifically but someone with an '87 or '89 could certainly help I'd think.
