C4 instrument panel question

Hi guys I recently replaced all the LCDs and light bulbs in my 1985 vette and now the turn signal indicators on the dash are constantly lit. When I got the car the lights were burnt out so I was curious if those always have a backlight to them or if I re plugged the wire harness backwards. Thanks in advance!
