I'm new to the group
is there a way to get rid of alarm system
I think mine is whacked out hear switch in dash clicking when get in car and horn is disconnected trying to get horn working
car is sputtering right now also put new fuel filter on it runs little better still sputtering
I'm trying also to get a good wiring diagram and vacuume hose diagram
car is coming along just few things I mentioned

going to put in.
I basically rebuilt drivers door I'm going to pull door panels and check wires
I made it stop and all of a sudden it's clicking

The SECURITY light is controlled by the TDS (Theft Deterrent System). The TDS is armed by locking the door with the power door lock button or with the key. It honks the horn if the door is opened while the system is armed. It also disables the starter.
SECURITY light functions:
Flashing - Door is open, system is NOT armed.
Solid - Door is open, system IS armed.
Off - Door is closed or ignition is on.

Thanks got that figured out
This morning I checked to see if my son locked car
opened door heard clicking
o when you slide tilt steering wheel of with shaft still bolted on steering wheel
is there just a cone shaped spring in there to control your horn button

Ok here's a question i put new fuel filter on car running better still sputtered
put new bigger fuel pump and sock running real strong touch of a sputter
but if someone stops dead in front of you to make a stupid turn if you don't down
shift automatic transmission down it sort of deziles shakes sputter
drop low gear takes off
