I have a 1990 corvette I got if off my dad because of the problem it has. It will just start and die it cranks right up and onlys runs for abiut 2 or 3 seconds. Here's some of the things I know and have replaced trting to fix it but nothing has worked first off I started with a new distributor, plugs, and coil I also had the ignition module tested it is good I replaced the fuel pump and filter. I also replace the ecm but not the prom and everone keeps telling me its the vatts system but the security light is only on when the doors are locked and when I turn the ignition on it flashes 2 or 3 times then goes out which I figure is normalI I do have around 48psi of fuel at the test port and I just bought a brand new battery I'm thinking my injectors are bad but I'm not sure thay can cause this problem I just really need some good advice!!!!!
How long has it set? Does it have fresh gas? Could be injectors or fpr how long does it hold the fuel pressure? Turn the key on without starting and see how long it holds pressure. Pull the line off the fpr and smell for fuel and report back. It is not the vats it would not evan turn over. Om the injectors too.

it has set for a while but it had about a qaurter of tank and I put stabile in it along with 5 gallons of fresh gas and some octane booster how long should it hold pressure at the rail with just the ignition on

Just turn it on it should run for two seconds then stop. Then turn the key off and watch mine will hold all nite but all stock the newer pumps most will not hold that long. Would have been better if when you changed the pump if you would have cleaned the tank out no telling what kind of crap is in there.

I finally figured it out it was one bad injector on the left bank killing all the injectors

Not sure how that happens.....one killing all the injectors....but it does sound like a problem I have. Resistance on one injector reads 3.6 and the rest are at 16.5..... think this could be the cause of my 5-1/2 cylinder '90 Vette.....?

If the resistance gets low enough on one or more injectors it can blow the fuse for a bank.
Thank you to everyone who has chimed in - I really do appreciate it. Thanks again.
*** UPDATE 4/17/23 ****
I confirmed all 8 injectors are opening/closing. With 42 PSI at the rail, energizing each injector brought the fuel pressure down to about 20 PSI in about 3 seconds. All injectors seemed to perform in exactly the same manner.
The car does pop and fart while cranking (I have repeatedly confirmed spark). Funny thing is - it seems to “run” best with WOT - pedal to the carpet. Of course, as soon as it starts it dies.
