:D Flame suit on.......... Don't take me wrong, but it's like a whole bunch of lads have to post answers or just cute little tid bits because it's a female posting. Huh? Only girl I even see on the forum is Vette Bebe 1 and she seems like a real down to earth Vette owner. Not going to flame you, but I just don't see what your talking about.

I hear you, but Hell , I reply to anyone who can answer my question or give advice. If what you say is true, and I must admit, I haven't read thru all the posts, I would be disturbed. But, that said, I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, let's be real here. Men do love Women. There are more men (Vette owners) than women. So, it makes sense that we would like to get the female perspective on various issues about Vettes. It just expands the experience. :)

I don't take this very seriously and believe me, I have posted stuff here that wasn't popular at all. (Remember my post about old guys buying Vettes?). I am just responding w/my opinion bro. I got tons of time right now, because I am on vacation. For me, this is all in fun.

I noticed it too. I think there is some encouragement implied when guys come out of the woodwork to reply to a females thread. I'd like to see more women here and what better way to do that than to make it fun for them. This place would be pretty boring with 'em.

In off topic they call it "leg humping". :lol: I don't mind nice comments, sometimes they are kind of funny. But I have had nasty ones too...seems like the very thing that gets you noticed can also hurt you. :crazy: I try to just blend in as one of the guys. I don't post to see how many comments I can get or for ego boosting. It is funny to see how many views a topic posted by a woman will get though. :lol:

My 'personal' opinion is that the mere fact that women participate in this forum is cool. It shows they have a love for their car, and a love for interacting with others on this forum who share the same appreciation for their vette. The fact that they get more replies *I believe* is because those who appreciate those facts want to encourage them to continue their participation in the forum. Sure, there may be some who respond because they're 'leg humpers' (and I admit, I am a male :conehead ), so if they happen to be cute then that's just added motivation to reply. :D Personally, I think it flatters them a bit, and what's wrong with that? :blueangel:

Very interesting observation, but it is true about so many other situations.
If a lady wonders into my office building, all the male staff members jump up ask if she needs help, if a guy walks in, he may be wondering around for awhile. (unless he is wearing a Corvette shirt)

And about the dude playing a girl thing, you wouldn't believe how many times that has happened. Many guys have been found out and banned. Heck, once some guy said he thought I was probably a dude named Frank or something. That is one reason I have a pic in my sig, to prove that I am not a Frank. ;) (no offense Mojo) :D
