Default Caught it before it blew....

Close call on the LT4 today. Took it out with my 10yr old, then our 4yr old. When we got back, after it cooled a bit, I was wiping it down and notice the upper radiator hose....car temp was running normal, just looks like the pressure was finally taking its toll on the old hose.

Wow, that's amazing. You're lucky you caught that and that it didn't blow.

Good catch.

Have to keep a careful eye on things. The youngest C4 is now 20 model years old and the oldest is 31.

While the C4 is the 1st modern Corvette most of them now qualify for "historical" plates.

Exactly - For a 20yr old car, it's quite a piece of machinery..so far, it's been a blast and at times, if I didn't know, I'd never guess that it was a 20yr old car.
