Thank you for taking pictures of the best corvette model in different parts of 'mericA
I really like your idea of taking pictures of the corvette on a corner in winslow arizona - as thats part of a song.
I would do the same with mine, except there arent many songs about ohio (except '4 dead in ohio' and i actually live in kent so thats nearby - ill have to do that sometime)
So next, i expect a picture of 'the ghost' on ventura highway in california.
Id also like to know about the LED taillights... Are those the squAre ones? Im undecided about whether to put led bulbs behind the stock lenses or do with new lenses made out of leds (as you have done)

I bought those tail lights in 2008. I tried to find them for Betty Boop, and they disappeared from ebay.
Re-visited Mt Rushmore, and Devils Tower. This time I took the helo-tour, it included Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer.
The helicopter tour was superb, and worth the money. The pilot was a former US Army Blackhawk UH-60, and told me the weirdest thing he ever saw there was a guy waving at him from one of those needle mountains.
Thanks for the memories...I used to work in Gillette Wy for quite a few years and we would go to SD on days off.
Anyhow, I got to ask what kind of U-joint you were running? I have found the Spicers fit so perfect in mine that I had no bulge of difficulty fully inserting the lock clip. Did one of the caps get too much grease and make it hard to put the clips in, or do you think the yoke went bad and got loose?

The new u-joint came from Autozone. I didnt have a choice on that matter. That was the only place available, and they are the sealed type.
Mike, I got to idea on what happened. Nothing hit the car, I looked and there no impact marks. I plan on replacing all of them.
It is working fine, after that install I drove many thousand miles. Stay Tuned
From the Devils Tower I drove off to the main purpose of this trip. The Gran Teton-Yellowstone run with the Western Scenic Tour Group.
This run was planned over a year ago, 19 cars, and 38 people attended, and we spent 3 days at Teton, and 3 days at Yellowstone.
I took hundreds of photos, so I will try to post the most significant ones.
On Day 1 we arrived at Jackson Hole, WY
Saw this elk right away next to Yellowstone Lake
I had time, decided to stop by Old Faithful.
As I was parking The Ghost, I saw the eruption. I didnt know it only happens every 90 minutes, and that I didnt have. Dont let a map fool you, it takes 3 hours from Old Faithful to jackson Hole. That's 3 hours of normal driving, no wild life making a show etc. I was able to shave 15 minutes of that. This was labor day, people were heading out, and 9 out of every ten vehicles were RV. I've seen some ridiculous people with RVs. But there I saw a truck pulling an RV, and trailer, and a boat. I guess it was near 50 feet long.
On day 2 few of us went out early to take wild life photos. The best we saw were these four bears. Yes, there were four not five The loner bear crossed the street.
There you see mama bear and two cubs. The sun was right on the cameras screen, and I didn't know what I was photographing, so I just kept aiming, and pressing the button.
After I took near 200 photos this was the winner shot.
We went back to the village, and linked up with the rest of the group, and left for a scenic drive on Grand Teton
