So I'm going to paint Alice soon, and wanted some input/ creative criticism.
Option 1- Stick with what it is now (black with red strips) but lay on a nice deep red candy with some very small, tasteful, layered and ghosted airbrush skulls from the nose tip to the hood emblem, and on the back the same from the bottom of the bumper to the tail lights.
2- Same as 1, but blue.
3- Tow tone black and gun metal grey. Black on top, grey on bottom. If I go this route I'll probably send in the trim to be chromed if possible, and hit it with a black chrome kit.
4- Black with orange stripes.
I'm also putting a blackout kit on (or at least smoke everything), LEDs all around and either C5 ZO6 style rims or torq thrusts depending on what paint I decide.
Input is appreciated guys!
Not a fan of stripes on C4's other than the GS and diff not a fan of skulls on any sports car. I have always liked the Black Rose color. Not a fan of the C5 Zo6 rims either especially on a C4. I think the C6 Zo6 motorsport wheels in black with polished face would look classy or maybe the C5 Magnesium. Probably not much help but you asked
I was seriously considering Black Rose, but black is what made me fall in love with the car in the first place. Besides, I only wear black so it's fitting Maybe black with black rose stripes and a silver pin stripe on the edges? I do like your idea or the C6 motorsports. I had a chance to buy brand new set half off, but stupidass me didn't go through with it. But now I know what they are called. Thanks for the input man, you gave me some more ideas

Much better. I'm not a fan of the skull idea at all (yes I did notice your avatar I still don't think it translates to a Corvette).

I still think I'm going with #1. The other ideas I came up with just seem to tame and bland. How do skulls not translate to a vette?
And to the entire Corvette community: Whats the big stigma around custom Corvettes anyway? I can understand like the fast and furious ricer ********s, but it's not all as bad as the dragon vette.

You asked so I offered. For me there is no stigma about custom Corvettes. Nothing I own is stock.
Good luck with what ever you choose to do.
How about something like this that I saw at Bloomington Gold 2010. The reverse of the same thing might also look good:
Skull painted C4 at Carlisle 2010:
That's what I'm talking about. Except the skulls on mine will be a little smaller and realistic. I couldn't find any pics of C4s with anything like this.
Gloss base and matte stripes would look really badass. Damn it, now you put doubt in mind about black and red.
All in all its your car, man. Do what you like and want to look at for years to come. If you may sell it in a year or two I would suggest to not over personalize it because you narrow the market. The same goes for engine mods. Unless you find someone who has your same tastes it is harder to sell and perhaps get your money back out of it.
