Most of my posts on the forum have been about products I have owned or use hence I can comment on them without guessing or assuming.
If it is something I know nothing about I will read the post but never comment because it would not be helpful to the op.
It would be nice if a lot of others would do the same, but I see misinfomation and just out right wrong stuff on here all the time. I used to correct people but then they got butt hurt so I don't anymore. I let morons be morons and carry on. Good luck with your new lift. I think it is perfectly safe if used properly. If it was not, the company would have a TON of lawsuits. They cannot afford that. ANYTHING can fail but this won't it used properly. Bendpak does not build junk.

I know, they use a bridge between the tracks where you can place a bottle jack and jack stands.

When I get a lift I'm sure it will be the kwik-lift. Just spent $1100 on corsa exhaust system so have to recharge

BendPak makes full size lifts, 2 post and 4 post. And they've done it for a while.

They should know what they're doing.

I am very glad you like your lift. but don't get mad at me for thier (misprint) or at me for not trusting it JMHO. I have never seen 2.5mm steel. That would be between12 and 13 gauge. not saying it's not but I have never seen it. and do not want to hurt your feelings any more. have a great day. I could not find much for specs on the hydro system either.

Default You're still safer under your car than driving it!

Getting under a car is dangerous everyone knows that and if you are not sure about getting under there then get someone else to do your repairs!
Jackstands are not safer than the Quick
Jack, period!
I used to use two hydraulic Jacks to lift my car and install my Craftsman 6-ton jack stands under the car talk about dicey and dangerous.
Now I slide the Quick Jack under each side of the car without having to worry if my jack stands are going to move when I jack up the other end of the car.
Finally, I do not care if any one ever purchases the Quick Jack i gain nothing, I am trying to answer the OPs question especially since I own the product which is a lot more than I can say from some of the ignorant responses.
Thanks, GrandSpt for actually replying to the OP's original question- wanting to hear from somebody who owned a Quick Jack!
And to all the other posters who have never owned or used a Quick Jack... I guess thanks for taking the time to make your own 'contribution' by telling stories of people who have died from working under their cars using something other than a Quick Jack.
Sheesh!

I have a standard garage with limited height and have been looking around for a lift. I have been going back and forth between the KWIKLIFT and 4-post drive up lifts and keep going back at the KWIKLIFT based on its simplicity and effective. So I ordered one... BUT NOW Im looking at this quickjack and like the idea of combining it with the KWIKLIFT... that would be the best of both worlds and cost less than a 4 post lift while taking up less space...

The mice in my head are spinning the wheel at full speed....

I like the portability of the QUICK JACK, it would be a great addition to the car hauler when going to the track... just lift the car right on the trailer...

I still have mine, no problems since I purchased it. I use it to work on both of my vehicles, and in the winter I use it to keep the GrandSport off the garage floor.

How much 'lift' you get on the C4?

I'm old and hurt, I need all the lift I can get!
