What Does a 1800 dollar corvette look like?
So, some people may remember the thread about me asking questions about a corvette about 2 weeks ago, I purchased the corvette today. Lot's of work and money to do/spend! There will be a build thread of this car (probably in the spring winters coming quick here!) when I have more money and available space to work on the cars. Here's some pictures tell me what you guys think!

I would have paid the extra $ to have one that was right side up.

What is the year model? 84's got "carded". Outside looks good, interior not so much. If you can restore the interior yourself you will save quite a bit. Call VetteWorks International for interior parts.

Yes it is an 84! And sorry for the crooked pictures! The interior will be done by a friend of mine and will be done with leather, want to fix all the electrical issues before doing the interior (haven't figured out the colors yet, thinking completely black interior) And I bought this corvette know the money I put into it I will never get back, this is something that will most likely be kept for many years to enjoy I could put 20k into this car easy and it's still worth half that at the end of the day completely restored. The hood struts on the car is shot, so hood wont stay up. Are the two struts in the front of the engine bay the only two that support it? or is there a longer one kind of on the side of the bay that is missing? All the help is appreciated!

Sorry, you got hosed.
by me are these examples and are many more. I'm sure 2500 would have taken them.
You have a massive undertaking ahead of you, or try to resale and step up quick. Something tells me that car has seen water.

The car has possibly seen water. It was purchased in new york and driven there for 13 years then moved to new jersey until the last two years, it's been in connecticut the last two years. The car runs very well. I don't like the interior in most corvettes anyway, so this interior will be custom and different (different is my whole idea for this corvette) and i'm sure many of you will disagree with some of the things I do to this corvette, which is fine! To each their own

Congrats! Things I see, Left front directional tire is on backwards and the left rear wheel is on the wrong side. Good luck!

I think you have a lot of enjoyment and a learning curve ahead of you. Its a great car to start the curve on and that learning will last a life time. When I was 14,(1964) Dad pulled a 53 chevy belaire home. He said if I got it running, it was mine. Long story short.. had a great time under the hood with him and did get the car running (once) and mom (the boss) said get rid of that thing. lol. $1800 wasted? I think not. If you were closer I would help.
