Won't Turn Over
Within the last year I have had two times when I got into my '93 Vette and turned the key to start it and nothing. Plenty of battery, just no connection to the starter. It happened this weekend, drove to a stop and got back to the car, turned the ignition key numerous times and nothing. Jerked the steering wheel, pushed in the clutch peddle numerous times, put in gear, put in neutral, but the starter would not engage, nothing except all dash lights, so no issue with battery. Fortunately we could push the Vette down a sloping driveway. Popped the clutch and it started, but had to continuously pump the accelerator to keep it running on one or two cylinders only. This condition continues for two minutes. Left off accelerator and engine stopped. Opened hood, checked plug wires, no obvious issues, then hit the ECM with my fist two times. At a loss, got back into the Vette, turned the ignition key and it fired right off on all eight. Ran the rest of the day with several stops and starts. Any ideas why it mysteriously won't start? Is the ECM failing or something else? Runs great, just has a gremlin sometimes when you want to start it.

try your other key clean the one you have or get a new one made. it needs time to reset once it does not start.
