Default No Heat issue,

Hi All,

I have a no heat issue, and my searches on the forums have made me more confused than ever.

What I have.
93 Coupe with non-digital (slider) controls
The heater fan runs and the car heats up (200+, verified by gauges and my nerve endings.)
I can hear the bypass damper move when I flip the hot/cold slider
No/extremely little heat.

The car was from Nevada and now is in Illinois, so this could be a long-standing issue.

What I have done:
Flushed system.
Flushed the heater core.
Bled the two screws after each service. (Coolant flows out of them)

What I plan on doing:
Running the system with the heater core return hose hanging, to see if I have flow. I suspect that it's very low, so one of my questions is:
Where is the heater control flow control?
Also, where is that in-line restrictor, and what does it do?

All replies, suggestions, and great ideas "thanked" promptly.

Keith

I have the same issue on my 94, I just did a complete flush with new 180 degree thermostat, both my heater hoses are hot going to the core and return so it flowing thru the heater core, I was told it may be the flow control door not opening below the dash? so I am still working on it.
