I notice the same and I practically daily drive the thing, I think there just aren't that many out there that people drive every day, I see tons of c6's and a few c5's but honestly I see c7's the most.

I store mine in winter and the first winter I was turning it around to park the other direction in the garage. Snow on the ground and it was like a pig on ice trying to get it back into the garage. Unless you're willing to put snowtires and chains on it, it's not the vehicle I'd want to take out in snow around here. Even when it's nice out, there's enough nuts on the road I like something with more substance to it if they like to bump my bumper.
Mines a fair weather driver and not to work (where someone nailed me in the fender with a door).

I daily drive mine. I've owned motorcycles that are show quality and similar to cars it's hard to take them out and put miles on or damage them, worry about other people. My corvette is often the dirtiest car in the parking lot at work, I bought it to drive and it has paint imperfections, nothing major, just enough that I can daily drive it knowing another scratch won't make me flip out.
Mixed bag for me. Some days I drive the car and don't see one other Corvette on the road. Other days I drive the car and I see lots of Corvettes. Doesn't seem to be any particular rhyme or reason, it's just the way it is.
