Default Door panel L bracket fix
Found some info in searches have the basic ideal. Any one have pic of this? I assume I just put the brackets where the door has the 90 degree lip? How far apart should I space?

if your talking about the door pad comming loose on the top. on my 94 I just put two screws on a slight angle that hooks on the door frame front and back. they are totaly hidden by the window sweep.

I read that in a post. But I think I'm going to do the brackets. But thanks for the reply.

Not my picture but found it on the net. You get the basic ideal. They used 1" brackets. I did it with the 1" and am going to swap them out for 1 1/2" ones tomorrow.

There was a great "sticky" on this somewhere in the forum with the 'L' bracket repair. I can verify that it was an inexpensive and easy fix that worked....

That is my old 91. I should have used longer brackets as the panel would sometimes jump off this bracket when I closed the door.

I searched but couldn't find it. Found that picture on Google search.

Actually what I found didn't have pictures.

I found that picture on a Google search, that picture really helped out.

I did end up using the longer brackets.
