Personally, if I was digging into headlight repair I would not only replace the pucks but the gears and linkage bushings as well, since you're already there.
It will probably cost close to $100 to do both but it will operate like new, if your motors are working as they should.

Lots of different stories on headlight motors. The vast majority can be repaired with the little bushings purchased on line, or from the "zone", or Advance. The part number is a Dorco number. They are actually designated for Ford power window motors. They serve the same function. I had to file mine down a bit to get them to fit but they work fine. My gears were fine, just the bushings. This seems to be the case for most headlight repairs. The first one took about 2 hours, the second under 30 minutes.
