swaying

I have a 1984 corvette feels like when driving down road
at like 55 you let off gas car seams to sway left or right not sure
give it little pedal and sways other way
any ideas just put new tires on back

how do your springs look and how does it feel if you push on each corner pushing the car down with your hands

I will try pushing on each corner tomorrow
from what I can remember its pretty solid
I know new shocks on front

Inspect shocks, replace if age is unknown.
Inspect all suspension bushings and tie rod ends. Replace as necessary.
4 wheel alignment.

Also check to see if the bolts at the upper front and rear of your C beam are tight. They are a bitch to get to though. Probably rear suspension though.
Here is a frame pic so you can see how the C beam is attached.
