1986 Water Pump

I have 86 L-98 coupe. I want to replace the water pump when I change the cam. I wanted to use an AC Delco unit. I did a quick search on rockauto and found two. The question is why is one $38.99 and the other one is $184.79. I must be missing something...

Does anyone know if I have a long or short water pump? Also, do I have a standard or reverse rotation pump?

ALL CORVETTES got a short W/P. and its a standard rotation. a reverse pump started with the 92 LT-1

Are you SURE? I believe you might need to check again !! Sometimes "flow" and "rotation" is confused.

your right for a serpentine belt set up its a reverse rotation

AC Delco pumps are now made in China, I got one 2 months ago from a dealership and it said Made in China right on the box...When I asked the parts guy he said thats where they are made now
