Ok i have a 84 that will not start all of a sudden. I whent in to a store for 5 minutes and came out and it won't start no problems at all at first. I changed the coil and module in the distributor but still no luck it's getting gas just no spark any help or thoughts will be appreciated thanks.
My '87 was having problems due to wires at strange times. It'd run fine for 30 minutes, stop and restart after 5 minutes, it'd die in less than a block. Wires had cracked.
Got it going again had to treat it like an old carburetor pump the hell out of it and hold it to the floor and it started up but ran link **** for about 4 minutes and now no problems starts right up i did put 3/4 a tank of 98 octane it after it started

You could put 108 octane in it, makes no difference. I doubt very highly it is gasoline related. Keep an eye on it, I suspect this is not the last we will hear of this. Fuel filter and pump are my two top suspects.
