How about a category called "whiners", or "former Corvette enthusiasts"?
The general discussion seems to be a mixture of guys and gals with helpful or interesting observations, and disgruntled, misled, dissatisfied owners who want to whine. I'm getting tired of the whiners. The vast majority of postings are positive, encouraging and uplifting. The others are just a big PITA. If you made a poor choice or it really doesn't come up to your pie-in-the-sky expectations, just move on. We really don't care.
That all, I'm done venting. I'll go out and hug my 73 and lay a few loving words on my 95.
Sounds to me like you're just whining. This forum is a nice mixture of people from all ages, all experiences, and all walks of life. There's no one here that doesn't have some interest in Corvettes, or why would they be spending their valuable time here, rather than watching some exciting football game?

Your post wants me to express how I will enjoy the 47 mile drive home from work today in my 92' with the sun shining. And then I too will go out to the garage and hug my 76'
Well I've been around here a day or so and only the true Corvette lovers stay around. So just hang out a bit and lets see what happens. After all its an open forum and all are welcome here, your choice to read or pass on what you want.
I agree with We Gone and Renfield. Almost everyone gets frustrated with their car once and a while, whether it's a Corvette or VW, and need to vent. I think it's not so much "whining" as it is asking for help.
