I was on a small trip with my wife on the way to do some gambling in Wendover Nevada. On the way there, the lights on my dash flashed on, engine loss of power for about a second and then all was well the rest of the trip there and back.. Seemed to run really good. A guy a work told me that the computer dumped and then came back online again. IS there any truth to this? He said it happens from time to time with his Truck and dealer said it was normal.. This make sense or is something going? Thought maybe the Opti was telling me it was about to die.

I think it was the Astoria out of Area 51 testing it's EMF pulse wave beam generator. Did you happen to notice a string of donuts in the upper atmosphere?
As far as the computer dumping, no it's not normal. What year is your car and how many miles? The opti wouldn't make your dash lights flash.
Your friend needs to get his truck fixed (unless his computer was supplied by Intel and Microsoft, then it would be normal).

Not to sound crazy but i have to agree with some that it wasn't the car, i know the US has a few secret projects in the Nevada area. Purhaps you got hit by a side effect of that that did something to your puter for a second

thanks guys for the info and will look out espicially for the UFO thingys. Don't really think that's the problem.. but, U know.. Live in Utah and anything could happen. :lol:
But, seriously now, when it did happen, which it did 3 times within 10mins on the road comming home from work. Always conserned with lights and hehe.. didn't even look at anything else. Will from now on. I remember somewhere here. That you could bring up the error codes with a jumper wire. If any of ya know what I am talking about. Would appeciate it. No Nathan, don't think Tach dropped off. Did lower, kicked out cruise too. Thinking maybe connections to computer are coroded. Or relay might be kicking out. Don't wanna disconnect anything until, I can see if there is error codes present. See, I will be moving to Georgia soon and will be driving across the states.
